Intersecting Node should not have highway=residential tag, highway=residential is a tag for the way not for the node. Please delete highway=residential from the node.

You should add more nodes to the way and align it with the curve as per the street. Adding two nodes, one each side should be fine.

Road class should be Primary, please refer "Highway types" from Confluence.
